I went to Lavington Primary School as part of the itenerary of
our group trip to Nairobi,Kenya. We went to the school on our 5th day in
Kenya.

We left the hotel at 7.30am by van and arrived at 8.00am.
The students were waiting for us and upon our arrival they sang some songs
and performed before us a short drama play in english. Then it was our turn
to sing them a song and they were very happy and joined us singing together.

Then after singing on the stage,we started giving presents to
some of the students in the school. They delighted to receive the presents
from us. From my observation the students in the school were from poor
families. Therefore they were not able to give any presents to us.

The students in the school showed us around their school. Everybody had fun
there. Some of us in the group had the opportunity to plant trees in
their school.

The students in the school were friendly. They appreciated our
songs that we sang for them. We also gave them a Malaysia flag with all
of our signatures. In comparison, our school, SKBD has far more facilities than
Lavington school.

I love my school, SKBD, I love Malaysia.
